Who are you and what do you do at M&Co?
Ellie Thompson, PR Co-ordinator. I support the PR team in generating press coverage and building brand awareness to the fashion press.
How did you land a job with M&Co?
I graduated from LCC, which is part of the University of the Arts London with a degree in Surface Design and prior to that I completed my Art Foundation at Camberwell Art College. After university I secured work experience with the M&Co Boyswear buying team and shortly after I was offered the position of Buyers Admin Assistant on Kids Accessories and later moved on to the Kylie buying team. Whilst on the Kylie department I was exposed to the world of PR and decided this was the career I wanted to pursue, so I joined the in-house PR team over two years ago and I’ve never looked back.
