New Year’s Resolutions: Head Office Style

Thanks to all the bloggers who shared their new year’s resolutions with us!

Here at Head Office we’ve got a few style resolutions of our own – let us know if you’ll be trying any…

Lace and check shift dress | Check shirt | Check boucle shift dress

My style resolution is to avoid block colours and be a bit more experimental with different patterns. My first mission is embracing tartan and checks!
Helen Campbell, Marketing Coordinator

Ribbed peplum jacket | Pleat blouse | Asymmetric zip pencil skirt

Mine is quality over quantity – try and stop buying loads of cheaper clothes and buy some really good staple items to last me!
Nicola Mercer, Website Coordinator

Red skater dress | Red leopard print skirt | Red pleat blouse | Red quilted bag

To start wearing more red. I always feel ‘dressed’ when I’m wearing this shade, the bolder the better!
Joanne Wilkinson, Web Content Manager

Blue animal jacquard blouse | Magenta wrap blouse | Coral boucle jumper | Raspberry slouch fit jumper

To be more adventurous with colour – I tend to stick to a trusty colour palette of navy, black and green so this year I’ll be experimenting with new shades.
Nichola Toner, Website and Customer Services Controller

Textured zip back pencil skirt | Zig zag belted coat | Grey chiffon blouse

To adapt any trends in 2014 to suit my own style. My personal style got a bit lost last year by trying too hard to copy looks seen on other people or in magazines. I love the SS14 workwear trend but I’ll be wearing it my way this year.
Jade Ruddy, Web Content Coordinator

Cream shoulder bag | Navy satchel bag

I definitely need to shake up my accessories choices this year – feel like I’ve been living in the same comfy boots forever and I’m looking for a new everyday bag that’s perfect for work!
Ailie Pollock, Marketing Executive

Peplum blazer jacket | Bow pocket cardigan | Peter Pan collar shift dress | Embroidered skinny jeans | Sleeveless chiffon top | Roll neck top | Buckle detail trousers | Cream shoulder bag

My style resolution is to try and make more outfits with what I have rather than keep buying new things and wearing them once or twice.
Jenny Morning, Web Content Assistant

resolution_8
Leopard print crepe skirt | Black coated pencil skirt | Leopard print midi skirt

To wear more skirts – I tend to stick with skinny jeans and dresses because I never know what top to wear with what skirt, as silly as that sounds. I’m loving our new leopard print skirts so I think I’ll be bold and start with one of those!
Lesley McCormack, Senior Website Coordinator

Leaf pattern peplum top | Floral peplum top | Duck Egg slouch fit jumper | Raspberry slouch fit jumper

My resolution is to spend less on my wardrobe. I’m trying to save up for a big holiday later in the year, so I’ll be choosing my purchases more wisely and investing in some of our Love the Price products. I’m especially loving the peplum tops and the gorgeous knitwear plus by spending less I can put more pennies in the piggy bank!                                                Paula Doran, Ecommerce Manager
