High Summer ’14 Catalogue: Blogger Picks

It’s that time of year again, April showers have come to an end and we are all getting excited by the first few glimpses of the summer sun.

Well we have the news that you have all been waiting for… Your wardrobe can finally say ‘hello to summer’ with the launch of our new High Summer Catalogue.  Whether you are jetting off or planning a stay-cation, it is guaranteed that you will be soaking up the sun in style with our latest summer-ready collections.

We’ve enlisted the help of our favourite bloggers to inspire you with what they will be wearing from our high summer collections this summer so take some tips from these summer style experts…

Make a Statement

The lovely Amie from Credit Crunch Chic dived straight into the standout pieces from our Boutique collection. Here is her take on our catwalk-inspired pieces:

“I think lace is such a chic way to add elegance to any look; you could pair this sleeveless lace top with navy skinny trousers and wedge espadrilles for a really laid back, summer time look. It doesn’t have to be formal!”

“In keeping with my love of texture, this beautiful lace dress is a total showstopper.”

Jumpsuits are a trend that refuse to go away, and what better way to embrace it for high summer than with this gorgeous all in one. The wide leg keeps it on point and the elegant v neck makes it look classy and luxe. I think a lot of people find jumpsuits a bit scary; but they are as easy to wear as a dress and just a little edgier. This sleeveless one would be wedding-appropriate with a heel, a clutch and a gorgeous necklace and is a definite statement piece to bring into your wardrobe.”

From sizzling Aztec to exotic glamour, the Boutique range may ooze elegance but as Tasha from Hello Tasha explains, prints can take you from day-to-night on any summer occasion:

“I am a great fan of kimonos and I particularly love this paisley pattern one! I also think that the ikat print jumpsuit is a perfect transitional piece to wear from day to night.”

Lightweight fabrics, check! Killer swimwear, check! The girls from Alice and Grace share their ‘hit the beach’  boho style, along with proving that you can add a glam touch to any outfit:

“We can’t wait for summer and our picks reflect our boho style with a tailored finish.”

“The bikini particuarly stood out because of its retro feel that will be both comfortable and flattering when lying by the pool.”

One particular item is definitely proving to be a blogger favourite for the new season… “Kimonos are a favourite of ours, they’ve been really popular recently and they’re set to stick around so it’s a good time to invest as the warm weather approaches.”

The kids need to be stylish too!

Dressing the kids in practical yet stylish pieces this summer has never been easier. Helen Wills from Actually Mummy asked her beautiful daughter GG what she would choose to add to her wardrobe for the summer sunshine.
