No matter how long you have to plan your holiday wardrobe it’s inevitable that you’ll get stressed when it comes to actually packing it all in to a suitcase that never seems big enough!
This year we’re planning our holiday capsule wardrobe early to make sure we take the stress out of packing.
Here’s our top tips for creating the perfect holiday look, wherever you’re jetting off to this summer…
“Madeira holds a special place in my heart. My Dad was born and raised in Madeira and it is where his parents and lots of family still live today.
It has everything from swimming pools along the coast that are filled with saltwater from the sea, to sleepy fishing towns with brightly coloured houses.
With warm weather all year round, pack for a summer holiday but prepare for lots of walks.”
Natt from Natt Fashion took us to the Caribbean for her holiday picks and the beautiful island of Barbados.
“This Brush Stroke Pleated Skirt is beautiful and so ’50s I love it! It would look great in the night when it’s a little bit colder, but still boiling to us Brits.
Like any other self-confessed shopaholic I can’t just pick one thing online. I also found a tonne of other beautiful items from M&Co.”
Our Web Content Coordinator, Jenny, is dreaming of Sydney this summer…
“A simple white top is my staple for Sydney. During the day I’d team it with the tile print joggers and flip flops for sightseeing around the city. At night I’d wear it with black skinny jeans and a statement jacket, necklace and heels.
The summer is Sydney’s winter but it still has the potential to reach 20 degrees so I’ll be sure to pack a bikini… just in case!”
Senior Website Coordinator, Lesley, is opting for a stylish staycation in Cornwall this summer.
Here’s her top tips for staying chic by the seaside during the unpredictable British summer…
“It’s almost impossible to plan for the weather so take a mix of outfits that will suit both sunny and rainy days.
Lightweight denims are an essential for coastal walks when it’s bright but breezy and I’ll be packing a bright red sundress for when the sun does eventually shine!
Stick to a nautical colour theme for a UK holiday and you won’t go far wrong.”
A trip to Florida with friends is on the horizon for our Web Content Assistant, Rachel, and she’s packing for fun-filled adventures in the sun.
“I’m packing lots of sunkissed orange pieces for my trip to the sunshine state.
Bright, printed bikinis are a must for chilling by the pool during the day and I’ll also be taking a pair of flat shoes for lots of trips to the theme parks!
This orange striped maxi dress is perfect for the beach or dinner and drinks when the sun goes down.”
