Blogger Style Challenge: Day at the Races

races

Have you been to the races yet this year? If not, there are plenty of opportunities left and thanks to some of our favourite fashion bloggers we’ve got the style advice you need. Three bloggers selected their favourite items from our Day at the Races collection and styled them in the hope of winning your bets.

Brush Stroke Print Dress

Rachel from Lady M Presents has created two colourful outfits with our Brush Stroke Print Dress for a day at the races.

“The fit is great, especially around the bust and I like the wrap aspect to the skirt of the dress. Super comfortable as it is jersey material, you will definitely feel at ease all day. I chose to team it with a white jacket and pink heels for the first look and a blue blazer and blue wedges for the second look, both to emphasise the colourways in the print.”

Culotte Jumpsuit

Christina from The Daydreamer chose our popular Culotte Jumpsuit and explained the reasons behind her choice:

“One – black is always chic. Two – culottes are totally in. Three – the hemline gives a nod to the warmer weather.”

“I styled the culottes with a fabulous hat and some strappy sandals to add the glam factor, while the clutch works well for the occasion, but is large enough to fit your purse and a brolly for a day out in the Scottish summer.”

Lace Skater Dress

Laura from Top Style Advice loves the races for the chance to dress up. She thinks our blue Lace Skater Dress fits perfectly for a day at the races.

“This blue will still make you stand out from the crowd. The lace is really pretty on this dress, it gives that feeling of luxury and class. I like the detail on the neck line, with the key hole. This style of dress is lovely and floaty, tight fitting dresses aren’t great for walking around the soft grounds and not comfortable to walk in either.”
