M&Co is proud to be supporting the #GetChecked campaign in support of Cancer Research UK and The Wee C!
More people are now surviving cancer than every before thanks to early detection so #GetChecked is calling on the people of Scotland to wear checked patterns in support of finding cancer early as part of the drive to turn “The Big C” into “The Wee C”.
The campaign hopes to make check patterns synonymous with early detection so that every time someone sees a check, they think about getting checked!
We kicked off the campaign with the help of X Factor and The Voice coach Yvie Burnett and Lindsay Blake from Fife who survived breast cancer after early detection. Both women proudly wore checks and joined staff at our The Gyle Shopping Centre store in Edinburgh to promote the importance of early detection to customers.
So WE NEED YOU! Post your selfies wearing checks via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with #GetChecked to show your support for the campaign and encourage others to get checked!
Together, we can bring cancer down to size.
