Blogger Style Challenge: Showstopper

A couple of weeks back, Mary Berry was spotted wearing one of our jackets on The Great British Bake Off and it was a real showstopper to say the least! With only two more episodes left of Britain’s favourite TV-show, we asked three bloggers who share our love for fashion and bakes to inspire us with their favourite showstopper outfits.

Floral Pocket Dress

Amanda from Rhyme & Ribbons told us that her ultimate dream is to attend The Great British Bake Off’s end of the season party, either as a contestant or a guest.

“I think a floral dress is always appropriate for a tea party, and all the dresses from M&Co’s Manhattan Rose collection would be equally adorable to wear. I’ve put together my ideal showstopper outfit with this lovely floral dress with pockets and 3/4 length sleeves.”

Twist Front Dress

For Em from It’s Em Channel there’s no doubt a show stopper outfit has to involve a dress so she chose to style our Twist Front Floral Dress.

“This dress is the perfect little show stopper staple for your wardrobe. It is made up of jersey material which I do have a preference for. I prefer stretch material on dresses like this for comfort alone, they can skim and flatter more and is true to size.”

Short Textured Jacket

Holly from Styla Petite wanted to follow the Mary Berry trend and style up a jacket from our petite range.

“I went for this stunning Short Textured Jacket in blush. I love the cut, the fit and the texture, plus being designed for petites, I didn’t have any issues with sizing. The gorgeous blush colour of the jacket goes really well with my lace playsuit: it’s the ideal colour scheme for a tea party, or even the big final tea party the Bake Off hosts when they crown the winner!”
